I had no idea that there was people out there who played that much with Lego....At first I thought they were on crack...Lego Land??? OMG, its incredible...the designs are life like, workable....then I thought....what are these designers like? Are they extremely weird? Creepy? I wasnt sure....Do you tell someone that you are a master builder of Lego for a job? I guess if it pays, and of course how many adults get paid to play with toys? Well, toys in public...lol
We went on rides and had a great drive there and back, since it is along the ocean.
I had a few things I wondered about with Southern Californianians....did I spell that right?
First, how does a person live in all this pollution? My friend was reading..(she lives here now) that a person reaches their life time capacity for actually consuming, or breathing in pollution here...right here in CA by the age of two weeks...OMG. How could that be?
Also, neighbors, or people here near Laguna Beach just throw perfectly good things out...I cant fathom that at all. It was last years colors...the table cloth has to go...the book shelves are new, but they are not this years decor...out they go. They dont give them to good will, they dont even make the effort to give them away to someone who can use them...whats up with that? I come from a society that recycles, reuses, and gives things to others to use..this consumer behaviour here floors me.....I guess I am just one weird Canuck.
I also find it hard that people are so aloof, as my friend said. There is not an effort to be nice to others, even polite thank you's I have heard do not seem to be sincere. Everyone is out for them selves. If I didn't friends here warning me to shut up and stop being nice..I am sure I would have been shot for smiling at people on the free way.
